Simple, Elevated Wellness

INSPIRED BY JAPANESE WISDOM
Feeling tired, inflamed, or not quite like yourself after 40?

I was told my labs were normal—but my body didn’t feel that way.
It was when I was 46, before I even realized I was going through perimenopause. Suddenly, I struggled to get out of bed in the morning. I could barely stand through my son’s soccer games, my phone screen started looking blurry, and I felt exhausted after tennis class. I even thought about quitting tennis because I needed naps before teaching piano lessons.
Now, nine years later at age 55, I’m not on any medications. I feel stronger, healthier, and I’m still playing tennis. My energy is better, my bloodwork looks healthier. More importantly, I feel in control of my health and confident in how to support my body over time.
But this didn’t happen overnight.
Eventually, I came across a simple daily approach that was different from what I had tried before. Over time, something gradually shifted. My energy returned, my mind felt clearer, my vision improved, and I began to feel more like myself again.

With a doctoral background, I’ve always been drawn to research. I became deeply interested in how simple daily practices can support long-term wellness. That journey led me to become a certified hydrogen advisor, as well as an integrative health and functional medicine coach.
No one knows your body better than you do.

I’m here to help you notice patterns more clearly and support you in building a simple, sustainable path toward better health. Sometimes it’s easier for someone outside of ourselves to notice what we may be overlooking.
Start from reading the e-book if you are interested in a gentle Japanese-inspired approach to wellness, healthy aging, and simple daily habits that support long-term health. Be sure to try the self-care quiz near the end!
